Sooo dear reader(s), welcome to my own little spot on the internet. So glad you could make it, and I hope you plan to make a return visit or two (or more... please?).
My blog's name pays homage to a strange little movie I recently watched called 'Safety Not Guaranteed.' It stars the lovely Ms. Aubrey Plaza (a regular on one of my favorite shows, NBC's 'Parks and Recreation') and the title came from one of Jay Leno's headline bits he does once a week, with the movie's resulting storyline being completely created by the film's writer. I could tell you more about the movie, but instead I'll just let you read about it here.
My blog's name will relate to my blog's content because most of my posts will contain links to other news articles that are currently being discussed / analyzed / ripped to shreds in other corners of the blogosphere (Jesus, spellcheck actually recognized that as a word -- I'm not claiming it's original but I never thought it was so mainstream). I plan to add my own opinion re: what's going on, which will include occasionally sharing and/or critiquing other writers' analyses. Thus, most of my posts will not contain original content and though I will sure try, creativity may be, at times, lacking.
I welcome ideas for topics! Hope to share more soon.
